Homer Laughlin Marigold

The Marigold shape by the Homer Laughlin China Company is a difficult shape to find.  It is a challenge to collectors.  Imagine my glee when I found a few pieces!  The Pattern is Temp Mari 204 and consists of bright red scallops with a black dot.  All of my pieces are stamped with the year 1945 except for the gravy boat which is stamped 1934.  I purchased these pieces years ago and have not seen any since in this pattern.  Pictured are my sugar and creamer, platter and gravy boat.  I love how the handles look almost Grecian and the pattern looks oriental.

  1. Anita- I have many pieces of this Homer Laughlin Marigold china. It’s not a complete set anymore, but still have a lot! It was purchased by my great aunt in the ’40’s I think. I am curious as to the value, but probably not to sell.

Any info you can provide would be appreciated!

    Thanks a lot,

    1. Hi Kim – that is awesome that you have a whole set! I don’t have prices and I only own the few pieces in the picture. I’ve had them so long that I can’t remember what I paid for them. I know the shape is called Marigold and the pattern is TEMP MARI 204. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. Thank you for visiting our blog! Happy dishing!
