I’m a fan of the special sauce on Big Macs, but this sauce takes the idea to a new level. I pan-fried a few patties and made some straight-forward burgers, slathering the buns with Nancy’s special burger sauce that has a great kick thanks to sriracha. If you don’t have pickle relish on hand, add diced jalapenos. Or, substitute jalapenos even if you do have pickle relish on hand.
I make a huge batch of this sauce from Nancy Fuller and keep it on hand. It’s not just great on burgers. Slather it on cold cut sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, paninis, hot dogs… You name it. Heck, dip fries in it. Potato chips. Everything you can get your hands on.
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon pickle relish (or substitute diced roasted jalapenos)
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha (or substitute your favorite hot sauce)
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- Combine all ingredients.
