I’m not sure how to describe this flavor of “Dirty” chips. They’re kind of sweet. No, they’re kind of smoky. Or maybe it’s a hint of vinegar. I don’t know! They’re unlike any flavor of chip I’ve ever had, that much I do know.
So did I like them? You bet. They’re unique, tasty, and they have that great “Dirty” crunch and fantastic potato flavor. For me, I’d like some more “kick”, but that’s being pretty picky.
On the Life’s A Tomato ‘Mater Rater scale, I gave these chips:
Texture: Outstanding crunch. Not oily.
Flavor: Great potato flavor with a unique funky (in a good way) taste. I could use a little more “kick”.
Quality: Great. The chips were evenly seasoned.
Appeal: A hefty, thick, crunchy chip that held up to shipping. Cool bag design.
I loved all of the Dirty Potato chips that I bought and devoured: Cracked Pepper and Sea Salt, Jalapeno Heat, Maui Onion, Mesquite BBQ, Sea Salt and Vinegar, Sea Salted, Sour Cream and Onion, and Sun-Dried Tomato.
