Ingredients

pounds
large shrimp
peeled, deveined, tail on or off, it's up to you!
1
cup
all-purpose flour

eggs
1
tablespoon
Old Bay seasoning
1
tablespoon
seasoning Salt
1
teaspoon
ground black pepper
3
tablespoon
butter
2
tablespoon
hot sauce
1
tablespoon
honey
2
teaspoon
sesame oil
parsley
chopped, for garnish
vegetable oil
for frying
Instructions
For the sauce
In a small saucepan melt the butter over medium low heat.
Add the hot sauce, honey and sesame oil.
Bring to a simmer and let simmer until thickened.
Reduce heat to low and keep warm until ready to use.
For the dry batter
In a large bowl combine the flour, Old Bay, seasoning salt and pepper.
For the wet dip
In another bowl beat the eggs with a tablespoon of water.
For the shrimp
Heat 3" oil in a Dutch oven or deep fryer to 350 F.
Dredge the shrimp in the flour.
Shake off excess and dip in the egg mixture.
Shake off excess and coat in flour again.
Fry 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate or wire rack to drain.
Place shrimp into a large bowl.
Drizzle with the sauce.
Toss gently to coat.
Serve shrimp garnished with parsley.
Notes
These delicious shrimp need no side sauce, but if you want you can dip them in Ranch dressing or blue cheese.
