Copycat Outback Steakhouse Green Beans

green bean recipe is a big favorite of ours. The beans take only a few minutes to make.

pound
green beans
fresh, trimmed as desired
½
tablespoon
unsalted butter
1
tablespoon
brown sugar
kosher salt
to taste
ground black pepper
to taste
Instructions
Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the beans and boil for 6-8 minutes or until just turning tender.
Drain and rinse with cold water.
Melt the butter in a medium sauce pan over medium-high heat.
Add the sugar and let dissolve, stirring occasionally.
Add the beans and toss to coat in the butter mixture. Saute for 3-4 minutes, flipping once or twice.
Season with salt and pepper and serve.
Notes
You can use any beans you like for a nice variation!
