Sometimes I make my own wing sauces, and sometimes I buy wing sauces from the local grocery store (or online). I love the variety. I recently picked up a bottle of Heritage Farm’s garlic wings sauce. Think Buffalo wing sauce, but with a really great garlic hit. Seriously, Heritage Fare garlic wings sauce is drink-it-out-of-the-bottle good.
On the off chance that you have leftover wing sauce (be it Heritage Farm’s garlic wing sauce or any other brand), in most cases you’ll have to refrigerate it until you make your next batch of wings. When you do, make sure you warm it a bit before tossing it with your hot wings. You definitely don’t want to put a cold sauce over hot wings.
Heritage Fare also makes a darned good Buffalo wing sauce.I absolutely love chicken wings, cooked any way, with any sauce (or without). Heritage Fare Garlic Wings
- 3-4 pounds chicken wings flats and drumettes separated, tips discarded
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Heritage Fare garlic wing sauce warmed, to taste
- Place wings in a large resealable baggie or container.
- Add the oil, salt and pepper. Seal and toss to coat.
- Refrigerate for 1-4 hours.
- Toss wings with sauce before serving.
