Buffalo Wing Hummus

If you follow this blog you know that I’m a lover of all things Buffalo-wing-flavored. From wraps to pizza to cauliflower. And of course, chicken wings! I’m not picky as long as it has that great vinegary heat with a hint of butter. So why wouldn’t I make Buffalo wing hummus? Yep, smooth hummus with that sneak-up-on-you spicy classic flavor. Perfect and as an added bonus it was a big hit at our last family get-together. As much as I liked it, I can’t say I was expecting such high praise for it! It was a happy day for sure!

Buffalo Wing Hummus

There’s nothing wrong with dipping pita bread in this Buffalo wing hummus, but since there’s wing flavors in there, don’t forget to have some celery and carrot sticks around too. Just to keep it ‘classic’.

It’s up to you to decide how chunky or creamy you want your hummus to be. If this is your first time making it I suggest that you start out slow. Process it in your food processor just a bit and take a taste. Want it creamer? Keep going. Error on the side of caution, though. You can’t un-process it!

Also try my Buffalo chicken dip.

Pepper Palace Wing Master Garlic Parmesan Sauce

Visit my other site, For The Wing, for all things chicken-wing!

Whenever my wife and I are in the Gatlinburg, Tennessee, area we always make it a point to swing by a Pepper Palace store. They have several stores in the area, including a new one in Sevierville in an area called The Island. The store, as always, was busy, with people everywhere enjoying samples of the hot sauces and salsas, from the hot to the mild. Me, I headed straight to the wing sauces and in particular, Pepper Palace’s own line of Wing Master sauces, including this Garlic Parmesan sauce.

As soon as we returned from our trip I threw a few seasoned wings onto my Weber Performer grill outfitted with the Vortex insert. When the wings were done I tossed them with the Garlic Parmesan sauce and dug in. The sauce is mellow, cheesy, and definitely garlicky. Not overwhelmingly garlicky, but really good. There’s a slight wing sauce kick, but again, not overwhelming. It’s a very enjoyable sauce, and a favorite around our house. I definitely wish that I’d picked up a few more bottles!

Pepper Palace Wing Master Garlic Parmesan Sauce

Pepper Palace has a wide range of sauces, from the extremely hot to the nice and mellow. The Garlic Parmesan sauce is nice and mellow with not a lot of heat. I seasoned the Pepper Palace Wing Master Garlic Parmesan Sauce wings with your standard Ranch dressing seasoning mix, which complimented the sauce flavors perfectly.

Pepper Palace Wing Master Sauces

You can order Pepper Palace’s sauces online but if it is well worth stopping in at one of their many stores.

I absolutely love chicken wings, cooked any way, with any sauce (or without). I love them so much that I created a free eCookbook that is full of my favorite wing recipes.

As soon as we returned from our recent trip I threw a few seasoned wings onto my Weber Performer grill outfitted with the Vortex insert. When the wings were done I tossed them with the Pepper Palace Wing Master Mega Garlic sauce and dug in. The Mega Garlic sauce has, as you might guess, a tremendous garlic flavor. And not just a bit of garlic either. Hence the word ‘mega’ in the name. It’s loaded with garlic. Tons of it. Lovely, great yummy garlic. With a bit of a wing sauce kick, too. It’s a very enjoyable sauce. I definitely wish that I’d picked up a few more bottles!

Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

I have been on a Buffalo chicken kick lately. I love anything with Buffalo sauce on it. Well, man cannot live on Buffalo chicken alone, or so I am told. So, Buffalo cauliflower bites to the rescue! Yep, that same great Buffalo flavor and cool Ranch dressing for dipping, all in a healthy bite.

Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

I like to finish these Buffalo cauliflower bites off on the grill to get a little char on it, but that’s really not necessary. You can make the entire dish in the oven in no time at all.

Also try my cauliflower nachos. Yeah, nachos made from cauliflower! Genius!

Ranch Dipping Sauce for Wings

Visit my other site, For The Wing, for all things chicken-wing!

This is my go-to Ranch dipping sauce for wings. By using homemade Ranch mix I save a bundle on making this sauce versus using store-bought packets, so I usually make a big batch of it. There’s nothing worse than having a lot of hot wings and not having enough Ranch dipping sauce to cool them off.

Of course, this great sauce isn’t just for wings. You can put it on your salads, too. Or use it as a dip for vegetables. Any place you normally use Ranch dressing out of a bottle, substitute this homemade version.

This sauce gets “happier” if you let it set in the fridge overnight.

Buffalo Hot Dogs

Wow, I was blown away by these Buffalo hot dogs. They’re crazy easy to make, but they have a little wing-like kick (thanks to plenty of Frank’s RedHot sauce) and the blue cheese absolutely go great with hot grilled all-beef hot dogs. Wing sauce on a hot dog is a great thing. Skip the ketchup.

The celery and carrot topping added a nice crunch to these dogs. I have to admit, when I order or make chicken wings, I tend to skip the veggies. But, these dogs need them.

Buffalo Hot Dogs

If you want to keep the Buffalo wing theme going, just serve these dogs with some Buffalo slaw! Buffalo hot dogs prove that more ‘Buffalo’ is a good thing!
